Building Emergency & Safety Procedures

Last updated on 05 Aug, 2026

In an Emergency

If there's an emergency or you feel unsafe, call 911 immediately.

For a non-emergency safety or security concern, contact the San Diego Police Department's non-emergency line at 619‑531‑2000 or 858‑484‑3154.

After-Hours Responsibility

If you're in the building outside staffed business hours (Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.), you share responsibility for the safety and security of the space. This includes not propping doors open, not letting in anyone without their own valid access credential, and reporting anything that seems unsafe.

Reporting a Non-Urgent Issue

For anything that isn't an active emergency β€” a maintenance hazard, a security concern, or suspicious activity β€” contact our after-hours line at 888-535-9675, option 5, or speak with your Community Team during business hours.
