Downtown Works does not support pausing, freezing, or placing a membership on hold. This applies to all membership types β day-to-day coworking, dedicated desks, private offices, virtual office, and add-on services.
If you're unable to use your membership for a period of time, billing continues unless the membership is formally terminated β and if you're still inside your Commitment Term, termination isn't available at all without triggering a Termination Fee (see How to Cancel Your Membership).
Your Options
If you're past your Commitment Term: Submit a formal cancellation following the process in How to Cancel Your Membership, including the Minimum Notice Period and no-mid-month-termination rules.
If you're still inside your Commitment Term: Your membership continues for the remainder of the term. Contact your Community Manager to discuss your situation β while a pause isn't available, we may be able to help you find a workable path forward.
To return later: You're welcome back anytime. Returning members sign a new membership agreement, and pricing, setup fees, and space availability reflect current offerings at that time β space is first-come, first-served and can't be guaranteed in advance.
