Professional Use Only
Downtown Works spaces are for lawful, professional business use, consistent with a shared office environment. Retail, medical, or other high-traffic uses involving frequent visits from the general public aren't permitted without our prior written approval. Spaces can't be used as residential or living space.
Prohibited Conduct
You and anyone you bring onto the premises may not:
Violate any law or regulation.
Engage in dangerous or disruptive behavior, or anything likely to damage the building or bother other members.
Interfere with, damage, or overload our network, systems, or equipment.
Access another member's space, mail, or confidential information without authorization.
Engage in obscene, defamatory, harassing, or discriminatory conduct.
Sell, manufacture, or distribute any controlled substance β including alcohol β from the premises, or use our address to obtain a license for such activity.
Store significant amounts of cash, negotiable instruments, or other high-value items not typically kept in a commercial office. We're not responsible for loss of these items.
Host an event without advance written notice and required paperwork β see Hosting an Event at Downtown Works.
Film, photograph, or record inside any Downtown Works location without our written consent.
Smoking Policy
Downtown Works locations are smoke-free. Smoking, vaping, and tobacco or cannabis use are prohibited inside the building and within 25 feet of any entrance, exit, or air intake. Violations may result in a fee and, if repeated, suspension or termination of your membership.
Using Our Address
You can't use a Downtown Works address as your registered business address, agent for service of process, or entity formation address without our prior written consent and, where required, a separate agreement. See Legal Notices, Subpoenas & Service of Process for related restrictions.
