At Downtown Works, we are excited to introduce a feature called "Coins," which offers a flexible and valuable way to utilize various services within our workspace.
What are Coins?
- Monetary Value: Coins are credits that carry actual monetary value. One coin is equivalent to one unit of currency based on your selected plan. This allows for straightforward calculation and usage across our services.
Accessing and Managing Coins
- Viewing Your Coins: You can track and manage your Coins through the member portal. Navigate to
Billing > Credits
to see a detailed view of:- Type of Credit: Understand what services or products your coins can be applied to.
- Credits Balance: Check how many coins you have remaining and how many have been used.
- Usage History: Toggle through the months to review past usage or view upcoming credit allocations.
Usage of Coins
- Print Credits Example: As part of your membership benefits, you may receive Coins allocated for printing services.
- Allocation: Each company might receive credits like 500 color and 1000 B&W prints per month.
- Value Calculation: For example, each color print/copy is valued at $0.10. Therefore, 500 color prints equate to a 50 coin allotment (since $0.10 per page x 500 pages/month = 50 coins).
Tracking Detailed Usage
- Detailed View: Click on the right-hand side arrow (
>
) next to each credit type in your member portal to view detailed usage, including the date each credit was used and the amount.- If your credits do not show up as deductions on your main view, ensure to toggle the 'Display Negative Transactions' button for visibility.
Key Points to Remember
-
Non-Rollover: It’s important to note that credits, or Coins, do not roll over to the next month. Be sure to utilize your allocations within the month.
-
Visibility and Transparency: Our system ensures you have complete visibility into how you're utilizing your Coins, making it easy to plan and allocate resources effectively.
