As a Commercial Mail Receiving Agency (CMRA) under USPS regulations, we're required to verify your identity before handling mail on your behalf.
What You'll Need
A device with a camera (a mobile device works best).
A valid, unexpired, government-issued photo ID β the physical document, not a photocopy or picture of one.
If you can't provide two forms of photo ID, you can complete a manual process instead: verify one photo ID through PilotoMail, then send your second document to your mail operator for manual upload.
Accepted IDs
For digital verification: Passport, passport card, driver's license, state-issued ID card, resident permit/Green Card, border crossing card, child ID card, NYC card, or U.S. visa card.
For manual verification: Valid driver's license or state non-driver ID, armed forces/government/university/corporate ID, passport or alien registration card or naturalization certificate, current lease/mortgage/deed of trust, voter or vehicle registration card, or home/vehicle insurance policy.
π Not accepted: Social Security cards, credit cards, or birth certificates.
Tips for a Clean Photo
Avoid glare, and don't shoot in a space that's too dark or too bright.
Hold steady and let the camera focus to avoid blur.
Use a solid-color background for better lighting.
Lay the ID flat and keep the entire document visible in frame.
Keep your face fully visible β no sunglasses, masks, or other coverings.
